It’s time again: From 25th September to 2nd October the International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles (IAA) takes place at the fair ground in Hannover, which covers an area of 26,5 hectares. IAA Commercial Vehicles is one of the world’s largest and most important trade fairs for mobility, transport and logistics. As well as the vehicle manufacturers there will also be suppliers at the IAA Commercial Vehicles. Under the motto “Driving the future”, the IAA International Motor Show for Commercial Vehicles focusses on efficiency, interconnection and flexibility.

Some press articles have already been published online on the 65th IAA Commercial Vehicles 2014. Here is a short summary for you:

2064 exhibitors from 45 countries will take part in the IAA Commercial Vehicles, reports Hannover.de. Spectacular shows for the visitors may unveil more than 300 world premieres.. The exhibitors will present modern and “future-oriented” vehicles and technologies, according to Hannover.de:

An article in Truckinginfo underlines the topics of the IAA Commercial Vehicles. “Efficiency, connectivity and flexibility” forms the focus of this trade fair. The future may be in “aerodynamics, lightweight construction and driver training”, reports Truckinginfo. The “commercial vehicles of the future” will include the most modern technologies in Hannover Germany:

BBC reports on the electric-powered vehicle named Kulan, which will be presented at the IAA Commercial Vehicles. It should significantly reduce environmental impact. Lightweight construction and electric drives are  the buzzwords here.

The article in Businessday emphasises the importance of connectivity and telematics, reporting that . this technical innovation may “open up many possibilities” such as improved safety and comfort.  Discussions about “extended traffic management” may be significant to “facilitate the traffic flow” for transporting freight:
