Contact with people, communicating and team work – that’s the way I like to work. I want to create something new and shape the future. I never wanted to be chained to a desk, and I was never a proponent of adapting to this or that system. My dream was to work creatively in a team – and that is what my current position at MANN+HUMMEL offers me.

I found what I was looking for at MANN+HUMMEL
In 2012, Filtron was looking for a Manager for the “Oil and Petrol Filters” division and I took on the position without hesitation. I viewed this job as my next challenge, and, together with my team, improved productivity and optimised the quality of our filters. After two and a half years, I was offered the job of Head of Technology – a great endorsement of my work. My team is responsible for the technology that is applied in the company’s production processes. As Head, I supervise projects for new filters and new investments and, of course, take part in many meetings and discussions, including with colleagues from MANN+HUMMEL Germany.

Today, I lead a group of 21 engineers and have a personal connection with each one. It is important for me to create a positive working atmosphere for them, one in which they feel content and valued.

The numerous initiatives from the company also contribute to this feeling: team visits, picnics, or MANN+HUMMEL private medical insurance. Last year we recruited a lot of new personnel and we are now pooling all our strengths, using the knowledge of our combined experience and developing new machinery, equipment and tools for filter production. We can therefore increase the productivity of our operations.

The merger with MANN+HUMMEL? A further boost to our reputation

The merger with MANN+HUMMEL was a thoroughly positive turning point in Filtron’s history. As well as the strong, expanding Polish economy, I think Filtron’s positive reputation and committed workforce contributed to MANN+HUMMEL’s decision – and today we’re all reaping the benefits. Production processes have been improved, new machinery and plant introduced, and equipment is now state-of-the-art. On top of the increase in turnover, employee numbers have grown from 1,300 in 2012 to 2,000 today. The corporate merger went without a hitch and, together, we can develop into an unrivalled market leader.

Today, our extensive portfolio is the hallmark of our company. We produce more than 2,000 different filters for cars, trucks and factories. All materials are certified to the most modern quality standards. We are a well-known brand that customers trust.

We are all convinced that this trend will continue. Personally, I have got to know interesting colleagues and locations worldwide and am very satisfied with my current situation. I think MANN+HUMMEL is not only the best company in our region, but also it’s the best thing that could have happened to me.
