Since it’s Christmas, we’re taking a rare break from our beloved ‘cheat day’, and having a whole cheat week instead! Goodbye guilty conscience, see you next year! Now’s the time for doing as much baking, munching and enjoying yourself as you possibly can – we can hardly wait!

In the unlikely event that we’ve had enough of sugar and sweet treats, we have a plan B. After all, no one should have to go without biscuits!


75 g herby cream cheese
20 g wholemeal flour
1 egg white

For the topping:
Mushrooms, parsley, chives, sesame seeds, sun-dried tomatoes


Combine the cream cheese, egg white and flour to form a dough with an even consistency, and season with a little salt and pepper. Now shape into roughly biscuit-sized discs and arrange on a baking sheet. You can now cover your savoury biscuits with mushrooms and herbs or sesame seeds and sun-dried tomatoes – whatever you fancy! Once the goodies are loaded up, bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C.
